I've been freelancing as a Web Designer and Developer for over three years. Since 2005, I've been working with House of PSP as the Web Developer on a contractual basis. Please take a look at my portfolio for more details about my work.

As a web developer, I have worked on the following aspects -

Develop design concepts into fully functional web sites
Design and develop W3C standards compliant accessible web sites from conception to completion
Provide freelance services in domain name registration, web hosting, search engine optimization / submission, accessibility & usability audits
Communicate directly with clients to establish project parameters, write proposals for design work, analyse project requirements and communicate progress to the client
Provide troubleshooting including post development support and maintenance

May 2001 – January 2003

I worked with Tata International Limited, a Tata Group Company as Systems Engineer. In all a year and a half work experience that includes exposure to all stages of a SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) and complete business processes of a large scale manufacturing company with worldwide business operations and supply chain.

During the tenure, I received the KAIZEN award by the company for the active participation in the movement aiming at ensuring Business Excellence.
My job description included -

Project handling from conception to implementation for Business Units
Customization and Support for the in-house ERP system comprising of Order Management, Procurement & Inventory, Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution, Finance & Accounts etc.
